When I started my first semester at Montclair State University I didnt know anyone around. So I decided to get involved, and once I attended to the first ladies nights i knew it was for me. I love the goals and tradition that my sorority upholds and stands for. Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority helped to become more confident and independent, and gave me the opportunity of meeting awesome friends that I consider my sisters now

I’m proud of the person I’ve been able to become and of the things that have shaped me as an individual. I would have to thank this beautiful sisterhood for that. Mu Sigma Upsilon didn’t only give me lifetime sisters but it has as well helped me grow as a person. It taught me the definition of being humble while at the same time teaching me to have confidence within myself. Mu overall has shown me to view life differently by enjoying the little things in life. While at the same time teaching me to keep my head up high, no matter what life hits me because at the end of the day anyone can accomplish anything they put their mind to. Being a sister of Mu Sigma Upsilon has been the best decision I’ve ever made.

Mu Sigma Upsilon automatically grasped my attention when I saw how unique the organization and sisterhood was. I loved the genuine sisterhood and it was obvious that this organization was more than just a sorority. I felt comfortable around the sisters because of how accepting they were of all different types of women. Also, the fact that the sisters were very active and involved on campus appealed to me greatly. Overall, there was no doubt that this was the organization for me!

I decided to pledge Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority Inc. because I knew it would be a great start of a new chapter in my life, in becoming a better individual for myself, others and my community as a whole. Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority Inc. doesn't only promote cultural awareness but it also strives in establishing positive images for women at all times. Becoming a sister has taught me so many great values. I've learned: the importance and true meaning of sisterhood, the hard work and dedication it takes to find your complete potential and most importantly how to appreciate others and ourselves. I love MSU and wouldn't trade this sisterhood for anything in the world!

I chose to pledge for Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority Incorporated because I wanted to challenge myself emotionally and socially. I wanted to open up to more people and be more active socially. I also wanted to find something that would enable me to interact with all kinds of cultures so that I could also learn more from the people I was going to be spending a lot of my time with. I'm glad I made the decision I did because I would've never met half of the amazing people that I know now. Mu sigma upsilon sorority incorporated has given me a home at school, and that means so much to me.

The amount of bonds I have created in this sisterhood are endless and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Joining Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority Incorporated has been the best decision I have made in my life. Before joining this sisterhood I had no idea how much it can change my life. Working with these group of girls has shown me the true meaning of what sisterhood really is. I went from being this shy girl to being a strong openminded independent woman that doesn't hesitate to do anything. Thanks to this organization I have become more outgoing as well as outspoken and I can say that I have grown both mentally and emotionally.

Mu has shown me the love of a family and a bond like no other. My sisters are just that sisters; blood does not have to determine that. Most importantly, I learned how to love myself and my confidence has grown a lot. Mu gave me what I was looking for and I would not change it for the world.

Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority Incorporated changed my attitude and my perspective in a lot of things in my life. Mu taught me that nothing in this life is given and that one must work for everything. It also taught me that no matter what happened before my attitude on life and on people is not defined by my past. Mu made me a better person inside out, I feel like not like a new me but a better version of me. It also taught me to love and be loved.
