The Matriarca Chapter of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority Incorporated was established on November 29th, 1990 by 5 women who felt the need to bring the organization's beliefs of diversity, unity and community service to Montclair State University.  As of Spring 2013, the Matriarca Chapter consists of 77 proud sophisticated ladies who continue the limitless vision set forth in 1981 daily in their lives, achievements, and goals.
